Horses are steppe animals and thus they make particularly high demands on the ground. They need a firm and non-slip, resilient surface to stand and walk safely. Also for sleeping a horse will only lie down, when it is sure to get up quick and safely again.

BELMONDO rubber flooring is custommade for all kinds of horse walkers. This makes BELMONDO horse walkers fitting accurately and quick and easy to lay. The prerequisite for a BELMONDO horse walker is a consolidated surface (such as concrete, asphalt, etc.)

BELMONDO horse walkers are available in two qualities:
- Horse walker S (a standard type for covered horse walkers)

- Horse walker P (for open, unroofed horse walkers)
The specially designed mat surface prevents horses from slipping under wet conditions. Horse walker P is protected against UV and ozone and can withstand direct sunlight for many years. Horse walker P is electrically conductive and suitable for the year-round operation of the horse walker. Snow can simply be cleaned off the mat, which means your horse walker can be used anytime, even in winter. Under icy conditions we recommend the use of magnesium.

As with all other BELMONDO products, horses and owners benefit equally. Both types ensure elasticity, secure footing and slip resistance. BELMONDO mats can be easily swept by hand or cleaned with a sweeping machine.
Horses walk on a comfortable surface that is safe and healthy for them. Although BELMONDO mats are designed to prevent slipping, they still allow for the joints’ necessary range of movement.

BELMONDO Box plus is based on steppe soil. The rubber mat offers highest comfort in recumbency and supports the horse’s musculoskeletal system.

BELMONDO Box plus is designed more elastic and springy than the solid BELMONDO Classic. The soft rubber compound minimizes the risk of slipping. Dimples at the verso of the mat embed air and isolate radiant cooling from the subsoil.

BELMONDO Box plus fulfills all requirements in skid resistance, surefootedness, isolation of radiant cooling, hygiene, reduction of mulch and easy cleaning. As the name suggests, we recommend BELMONDO Box plus for use in box and open stable.

Pleasantly soft, safe and skidproof!

Worn down hooves, fast perishing horseshoes und accidents by slipping in a paved paddock can be avoided! BELMONDO Paddock offers safety and foothold for your horse. The footing is given by the plasticity of the mat, the special designed surface supports the skid resistance in wet conditions.
The liquidtight mat is fast drying, run-off water drains over the pimpled verso. In case of surface icing over we recommend the use of magnesium. BELMONDO Paddock is resistant to ozone cracking and UV radiation and can be exposed to direct sunlight for years.

Due to the special skid resistance in wet conditions BELMONDO Paddock is suitable for washdown yards. Please consider, that BELMONDO Paddock demands a paved surface! We will be happy to give advice!

Comfort and safety in stable aisles!

Increased risk of slipping and noise exposure in stable aisles is often a problem. BELMONDO Walkway absorbs loud clip-clopping and minimizes slip danger. BELMONDO Walkway mats are very easy to clean and therefor also ideal for grooming sites, horsetrailers and transporters.

Please consider that BELMONDO Walkway should not be strained by heavy equipment. In this case we recommend BELMONDO Classic. For washdown yards we recommend in any case BELMONDO Paddock with its special developed nonskid surface.
